The special members meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020. If you have chosen to participate online and registered with your email, we will have sent you a zoom meeting link. If you have registered and not received a link, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the meeting invitation email, please contact Beatriz (firstname.lastname@example.org) or you can also call her at 613 244-4762 who will confirm your registration and provide the link.
If you are using a tablet that does not have Zoom installed, you may have to download the application to join the meeting. You can download it from Google Play or directly from Zoom.
Desktop or Laptop Computer
If you are using a laptop or desktop, you do not have to download the zoom application to participate. To join the meeting using your web browser, follow these instructions.
Click the Zoom meeting link in the email we sent you. When you click the the link, this will launch and open up a browser page which will look like this:
Ignore the “Launch Meeting” button.
Instead, look for and click the “Join from Your Browser” link at the bottom of the page.
If you don’t see this link, try refreshing your page.
When you click the “Join from Your Browser” page, a new browser page will be launched that will look like this:
Type in your Name. This will be displayed during the meeting.
Click the box beside “I’m not a robot” to complete the CAPTCHA.
Then click the “Join” button and you will enter the meeting.
Once the meeting starts, there will be a roll call for all online members.
You will participate in all votes via the online polling feature. You will see the results of the online poll (just online votes) and the Chair will provide the results of the vote by all the members.
